Overview
The Division of Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine at MassGeneral Hospital for Children is a well-established clinical, training and research program. The group provides multidisciplinary comprehensive consultation, diagnostic and management services for a wide array of pulmonary conditions including:
- Asthma
- Bronchopulmonary dysplasia
- Cystic fibrosis
- Recurrent and persistent pneumonias
- Unusual respiratory infections
- Immune deficiencies
- Congenital lung malformations
- Neuromuscular disorders leading to chronic lung problems
- Apnea
- Exercise-related disorders
- Sleep-related breathing problems
We constantly strive to deliver the best family-centered, cutting-edge pediatric pulmonary care in close association with local primary care providers.
The Pediatric Pulmonary division currently has 10 faculty members and two fellows. Many of our faculty members are recognized as leaders in their field and have received both local and national awards. Building on our solid clinical platform, we provide training for fellows, residents, Harvard Medical School students and healthcare professionals.
