The Retina Department performs diagnostic retinal procedures like : -

Digital Fundus Fluorescein Angiography (FFA) with TOPCON digital fundus camera.

Indocyanine Green Angiography (ICG) to arrive at a better understanding of the medical retinal conditions.

Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) STRATUS ZEISS: This is like a C.T. Scan of the retina.

B-scan Ultrasonography with ALCON machine.

Laser treatment of the retina for diabetic retinopathy can be performed with the argon, diode or double frequency YAG laser.
Transpupillary Thermo Therapy (TTT) with Iris Diode laser for ARMD.

Buckle surgery for retinal detachment is done using imported MIRA material.
Pars Plana Vitrectomy with DORC vitrectomy machine and BIOM.
