The Ear Lobe Repair Procedure
There are several different types of repairs that can be done all in the office under local anesthesia usually within an hour. The degree of your tear will determine the type of procedure you will need. There is minimal discomfort after earlobe repair and you will not need to have any prescription medicine other than antibiotic after your surgery.
Technically, flaps are used to redistribute and reshape your ear. These flaps will help minimize any scar. New stud earrings are placed immediately during the surgery and will initially stay in place for three weeks. The stitches I use are clear and will not be visible.
