Bombay City Eye Institute (BCEI) is the result of a vision, resoluteness of desire, and a single-minded perseverance in making the Institute a world class centre for comprehensive eye care. That individual is Dr. Kulin Kothari, the renowned ophthalmic surgeon with twenty years of dedicated practice behind him, and the present Chairman & Medical Director of BCEI.
BCEI currently houses in a single centre, modern and technologically advanced top end facilities and equipment, for diagnosis, treatment and care. The doctors are all experienced specialists in various different sub-specialties and are the very best in their chosen field.
The Departments encompass General Ophthalmology, Cataract Services, Squint and Paediatric Ophthalmology, Oculoplastic Surgeries, Neuro Ophthalmologic Services, Vision Correction Services incorporating Lasik Surgeries, Glaucoma, Retina and Cornea & Contact Lens Services.
The support team constitutes an efficient management group along with professional nurses, paramedics and optometrists.
The institute also functions as an academy for educational activities, for the ophthalmic fraternity, general practitioners, postgraduate students and ophthalmic assistants.
