Pre treatment Workup

In order to do a complete analysis for the treatment do be done, the investigation is done in advance to have a better understanding of the patient’s health. Some of the pre test performed by the Pre IVF Investigaion panel on the male and the female partners include:

Female partner tests

The test which can be performed on the female partners are as follows:

  • Ovarian Function test

    It is performed to acknowledge and understand the ability of recruiting and retrieving multiple follicles. Some of the hormonal levels are checked in prior to the commencement of treatment over patient so that the experts can decide whether to carry on with the treatment or not.
  • TSH Level

    It is the blood test to determine the normal functionality of the thyroid gland and its production of the hormones. It is conducted 4 hours after the last meal or on an empty stomach.
  • Transvaginal ultrasound exam

    It is used to visualize the female reproductive organ and diagnose pelvic pain, menstrual problems, abnormal bleeding and other reproductive organ related problems. It is conducted with the empty bladder or partially filled only.
  • HSG

    An X-Ray conducted to have the analysis of the inside look of the uterus and the shape of the fallopian tubes. It is conducted in the specialized Radiology departments only by the experts.
  • Hysteroscopy

    This test is of two types i.e. Diagnostic Hysteroscopy and Operative Hysteroscopy. It is conducted so as to diagnose the genetic disorders by viewing the uterine cavity thorugh a lighted scope followed by the treatment of the causes if abnormal bleeding.
Male Partner Test
Male partner’s fertility tests includes surgical procedures or the semen analysis. The surgical procedures incorporates testicular biopsy and vasography. These tests are conducted in order to determine the blockages and the issues in sperm production compared to the normal sperm production.

Semen Analysis

  • This test is widely used for determining the quality, quantity, motility, morphology, sperm count, and the vitality of the sperm. Semen analysis needs to be performed by the Pre IVF Investiganel panel within the sobreity of 24-72 hours.
